”Look at this” — selection + viewport tools
New read tools (#238, panel 0.9.2):panel_view_selected and
panel_view_nodes_in_viewport — the agent can read exactly the nodes you’ve
selected or the region of the canvas you’re looking at, instead of you describing
them.
panel_get_errors — every errored node, joined to its cause
panel_view_errored_nodes merged into panel_get_errors (#240) rather than
shipping two overlapping error tools. The single surface now returns every errored
node joined to its cause — nodes[] with the node’s detail summary,
red_outline, and reasons[] (missing_model with file/folder/download URL,
missing_media, validation, execution with exception_type) — plus graph-level
missing models / media / node types.
This closes a real gap behind “red node, no error message”: missing model/media
assets paint nodes red as soon as the workflow loads, but the raw validation map
only populates on a queue attempt — so the old tool answered “no errors recorded”
while you were staring at red nodes (reproduced live, then fixed). Likewise a node
that throws at runtime is never painted red, so it can only be found here. Requires
panel ≥ 0.9.6; the panel also announces missing assets at turn start, not just
on request (#93).
Panel fixes
Runtime failures carry theirexception_type into the affordance (0.9.5), the
missing-node-types source was corrected with a validation-error fallback (0.9.4),
and the panel bundle stops tripping the Registry’s YARA SUSP_SVG scan (0.9.3).
