July 12, 2026 v0.31.0 and panel 0.8.0 — a big community-inheritance release: four feature stacks ported from the MichaelDanCurtis fork, a pack from the jcd315 fork, and a batch of community fixes.

Five new providers via a real OAuth engine

An OAuth engine plus provider backends for Grok, Kimi, GLM, ChatGPT (direct OAuth), and Copilot (#201). The panel gets provider chips with in-panel OAuth sign-in (behind experimental-backend gating), and existing CLI logins are detected so you’re never asked to sign in twice.

A2UI chat cards

panel_ui_render / panel_ui_update (#194) — the agent can render validated, interactive UI cards in chat (a lit-based renderer on the panel side), with a server-side spec wall so only vetted card specs reach the browser.

Per-workflow agent sessions + prompt registry

Each workflow can run its own agent session (#199), with provider on/off switches and thread-rename migration on the panel side — the groundwork for conversations that follow your work rather than one global thread.

Loopback MCP console + credential slots

A loopback-only MCP console for direct tool invocation and debugging (#197), plus credential slots: API keys are stored server-side and referenced by slot, with a clear/revoke path (#203) and a Clear button on each panel slot row.

Also in this release

  • Native search_civitai_models (#198) — CivitAI search is now built in; the bundled third-party MCP is gone.
  • Official comfy-cli integration — environment/workspace discovery, managed server lifecycle, jobs, validation/execution, and model tools ride comfy-cli’s JSON envelope where available.
  • Download metadata sidecars with agent-visible LoRA trigger words.
  • ltx23-distill-3stage — a 3-stage LTX 2.3 distill I2V/T2V pack (from the jcd315 fork, #195).
  • Mobile groundworkcall_tool (a whitelisted direct tool channel), upload_media (stage phone media as ComfyUI input), chat-history bridge frames, and tool calls forwarded as action frames for visibility.

Fixes

A tool-using turn can never end in silence (#202); a throwing backend constructor can never kill the process (#209); the real LAN IP is picked over VPN/virtual adapters; a loud not-a-model warning stops the CivitAI “Workflows-zip” download trap (#206); graph editing is signposted to the panel router (#205); the in-flight message is re-queued when the agent crashes mid-turn; unsatisfiable searches no longer loop “in circles” (#191); plus community fixes to get_node_info, comfy-api-key fallback, and save_workflow docs (#196). The panel’s pairing QR now encodes an https lander URL, since phone cameras refuse raw ws://.
