# June 24: Krea 2 Turbo pack

> Day-one ComfyUI pack for Krea 2 Turbo — Krea.ai's new 12B open-weight text-to-image model. 8-step turbo speed, Qwen3-VL prompting, JSON area prompts, one-command install.

[Krea 2](../blog/krea2-comfyui) shipped its open weights on June 23, and the krea2
txt2img packs land the next day.

## Krea 2 Turbo, packaged

* **`krea2-txt2img-manual`** and **`krea2-txt2img-json`** — Krea 2 Turbo (Krea.ai's
  12B Diffusion Transformer, distilled) text-to-image. Run on **native ComfyUI
  krea2 support** (`CLIPLoader type=krea2`, ComfyUI ≥ v0.26.0) with a **Qwen3-VL 4B**
  text encoder and the **Qwen image VAE**. Generate in **\~8 steps at cfg 1**.
* Sliced from the KREA2 ULTRA monolith into two standalone single-pipeline packs,
  one per prompt mode — **`-manual`** for a plain prose prompt, **`-json`** for
  Ideogram-style structured JSON / area prompting (`Ideogram4PromptBuilderKJ`).
  No group toggles; each pack's one prompt source is active.
* `ImageSharpenKJ` runs before save. Smart Seed Variance +
  `ConditioningKrea2Rebalance` ship **bypassed** (optional) — un-bypass for
  variations / conditioning rebalance; the safety filter stays intact by default.
* fp8 build for RTX 4000/3000/2000; swap in `krea2_turbo_mxfp8` on RTX 5000.
